Rajeev Vishwakarma
Before moving to Canada, Rajeev was a journalist for more than 21 years. During his reporting career, he got the chance to travel all across the length and breadth of the country. During these journeys, he visited many poor, backward, and tribal regions of the country. On the basis of his journalism experience, he observed that in these places many governments and many non-government organizations were working but still the major basic problems of the people in these places were not solved. Children were not able to get proper education due to the lack of school and college, drinking water was not available, and production in fields was not satisfactory. Farmers were in a very poor state. Seeing all these situations, Rajeev did numerous journeys in hilly areas where people were living in difficult conditions so that he could get acquainted with their basic problems. Almost all the adult male members of the family leave their homes in search of jobs and went to the plains. In these circumstances, the responsibility of the family comes on the shoulders of the females. In spite of personal efforts, which he thought were not sufficient, he came in contact with some youth who also wanted to work for the upliftment of society and had the same mindset and positive attitude. Their joint efforts gave rise to an organization and PANKHUDI was established.

Jai Bhagwaan basically belongs to an agricultural family in Jeend, Haryana. For a long time, he was involved in a traditional family business i.e. Farming. Along with this, he had ample interest in the production of medicinal plants. So, he learned many aspects and skills which would help him medicinal and traditional farming. His thinking is that the basic necessities of the villagers should be fulfilled in the village itself. This was his dream and work area. Personally, he has done many efforts to improve the immediate living conditions. During these programs, he came in touch with PANKHUDI and joined it.

Ganesh Shastri
Ganesh, a firm believer of the traditional Indian system of living, hailing from the hilly city of Almora in Uttarakhand, went to the pious city of Varanasi where he got his Shastri degree from Sampoornanand Sanskrit University. From there he went to the holy city Rishikesh where started his social life. Ganesh has given his free services to various organizations and he is involved in many social awareness programs. Since 1993, a scholar of Karmakand, Ganesh is actively disseminating awareness about the traditional Sanskars and is working in the fields of education and health-related programs by giving his services for the betterment of society.

Anurag Dwari
A journalist by profession, Anurag is associated with the society for a long time. After completion of his graduation, he took a degree in journalism from the Mass Communication Research Center of Jamia Millia Islamia. He also did his M.A. in journalism. From the very beginning, Anurag is associated with social causes. He worked in different blocks of Madhya Pradesh under Rajeev Gandhi Shiksha Mission. 2000-01. He also went to Gujrat for the relief work for earthquake-affected people. He did research work on the Bhopal Gas Disaster and also made a documentary on the homeless community of Delhi. Apart from Gender Sensitivity, Anurag was also involved in organizing street plays in Bhopal.

A teacher by profession, Vinod belongs to District Panipat of Haryana. Along with his teaching job, he also looks after his traditional business of farming. Apart from just giving plain teachings, he also imparts knowledge about our immediate environment. It is his belief that if the student gets information about various social aspects, then they can good progress in their life as well. From the time it time, he gives them information about Environment, Pollution, Health, Employment, Agriculture, Yoga, etc. apart from, Vinod also uses the latest information in his agricultural practices and almost always make a good yield because of which his production is higher than other farmers. He also imparts this knowledge to other farmers also so that they also could get a good production.

Deepak Sharma
Owner of a computer business, Deepak is a native of District Sangroor, Panjab. A dream of making the district fully computer literate was building up in him since his early childhood. After graduation, he was engrossed to become an expert in the field of computers. Deepak completed computer Level Computer Course and decided to aware the people of his district about the various aspects of computers. Through his active efforts, not only did Deepak make people aware that the computer is a powerful tool to generate employment, but also made them get good earnings. Due to his sustainable efforts, many people have generated computer-related employment.
